Venezia was beautiful! I recommend traveling to the islands off of Venice, especially Murano the city of glass. And I found it very unnecessary to pay 100 euro for a gondola because the number 1 boat bus takes you up and down the canals of Venice and although not as romantic, it is great for taking pictures and experiencing Venice from another persective.

I went to my friends house for her birthday last night and I made this torta salata with zucchini, speck, lemon zest, eggs, cheese, and cream! It was delicious.
